Potential therapistViews: 310

I talked to her on the phone today and will meet with her on Monday unless i check with my insurance and find out she’s too expensive. She is not “in network” so I have to see how much my health insurance will reimburse out of network therapists.

Kinda wish i could see one today. My body no longer feels tired. In fact it feels like the opposite, like it’s panicking and in hypermode.

Kevin was supposed to be released from the hospital this morning but he had a fever last night so they want to make sure it’s not an infection. Not sure why that made me so upset but i REALLY don’t want to be at work today.

Therapist’s bio online:

“Are you a bundle of nerves? Is your stomach in knots? For over twenty years I have been helping people feel more comfortable being in their own skin by learning coping skills to deal with stress and anxiety. If you are struggling with a life transition or plagued by anxiety, shame or confusion, I can help you with coping skills to have a more peaceful and fulfilling life. Together we will explore how your experiences have affected all areas of your life so that you can begin to feel more calm, have more clarity and experience more joy.

The mind, body, and spirit are intricately connected. I support the use of meditation/prayer, massage, yoga, journaling, or any other personally meaningful practices to complement talk therapy. In this way, your whole being is encouraged to engage in and benefit from the process of therapy.

My goal is to provide a safe and caring environment in which you can explore and resolve your issues. You will learn, through self-acceptance and a new perspective, to take better care of yourself and make healthy choices. Please call or e-mail me today to schedule an appointment.”
